THE ‘PATIENT SITTER’ SERIES -
The video captures an artists’ field of vision reflecting on the time both the sitter and the artist invest in the process, opening out the final single work into a record of the visual decision making that has taken place and the thought of the artist. The original finished work would have been an amalgamation of that time into layers of pigment or a captured image.
